5 of the Best Cafes to Work from in Tel Aviv

Finding the perfect cafe to call your office for the day is never as easy as you would hope it would be. That’s why the Delicious team has curated this list of five amazing cafes that have everything you need for a long day of work. These cafes were selectively chosen because of their excellent accessibility to laptop workers, and we hope you love them just as much as we do!

  1. Little Prince Bookshop at King George - הנסיך הקטן בקינג ג'ורג

The Little Prince Bookshop (Hanasich Hakatan at King George 19) is the coziest workspace with overall superb vibes. As both a cafe and a bookshop, every nook of the facility has a unique experience to offer. Although this spot seems to be popular among tourists and locals alike, the large space, both indoors and outdoors, allows for ample options of seating. The outdoor area is shaded by a canopy covered in beautiful, hanging greenery, and the ambiance is truly one you must experience in person to fully understand. Between the countertops, couches, and scattered round tables, there is plenty of room to spread out with an outlet in sight. It is definitely a more lively atmosphere, so come prepared with headphones. The menu is fairly extensive in both food and drinks, and the cafe offers a dine-in service with a full waitstaff.

Sun - Thu: 10 AM - 12 AM Fri: 10 AM - 5 PM Sat: 8 PM - 12 AM

King George 19, Tel Aviv-Yafo

2. Nahat Coffee - קפה נחת

Nahat Coffee is a classic, modern coffee shop with good coffee and a good atmosphere. The inside has a nice aesthetic, but somewhat limited seating. Luckily, if you can grab a seat inside, you will certainly have access to an outlet, and the air conditioning is an added bonus. Outside, there is also plentiful seating if you prefer the outdoors. While exceptional coffee is the foundation of Nahat, the menu also has a plethora of lunch options, such as salads, sandwiches, pastries, and additional beverages. If you’re not a coffee connoisseur, Delicious recommends the Pink Iced Tea for 12 shekels or the Iced Chocolate for 16 shekels. As for the coffee selection, Nahat offers a wide variety of exotic blends and roasts, each described on a scale of fruitiness, bitterness, and balance. Overall, if you can find a spot inside, this is an ideal place to camp out on your computer for a morning or afternoon. And when you’re done working, you can walk right in Dizengoff Square which is full of fun shopping and amazing restaurants & bars.

3. Makers TLV - מייקרס

If you are a plant lover or your favorite color is green, this stop is a MUST. Makers Cafe is filled with the most beautiful greenery and aesthetic decor, and the best part is, the plants are for sale!! Inside the bright, aqua walls of the cafe is an array of comfortable seating and tables that were intentionally designed to feel like a living room. If you need some motivation to get to work, the ambiance of Makers is incredibly rejuvenating, especially after one of their delicious cups of coffee. While this is a must visit cafe in Tel Aviv, the accessibility for remote workers is not necessarily ideal. A few flaws for laptop workers include lack of outlets and lack of a bathroom. Otherwise, there are plenty of options for seating, good wifi, and a perfect temperature of air conditioning. Even if you only go to sit for a few hours, Makers cafe is sure to brighten your day.

Added Bonus: If you make it to Makers on a Tuesday, be sure to stay for their weekly live music performance at 8 PM to hear from various talented Israeli musicians!

4. The Streets Cafe - King George

The Streets Cafe on King George Street is a busy, but very work-friendly shop in central Tel Aviv. There is even a special note on the website welcoming students and specifying that their “coffee shops are adjusted for students and business meetings. At Streets King-George there is a special gallery floor for prolonged work.” Inside, there are two floors of comfortable and spacious work areas, and outdoors there’s even more of an abundance of available, shaded seating. It does seem to be a popular spot, however, so be sure to arrive early in the day for the best chance of indoor seating near an outlet. On a hot summer day, the air conditioning inside is amazing, but if you plan to stay a while, perhaps bring layers for when the breeze gets to be too much. The menu is exhaustive and perfect for a drink or meal at any time of the day.

5. Ma Jolie: Galerie et Cafe

This hidden gem of Neve Tzedek is the perfect spot to hunker down and call your office for the day. The atmosphere is an ideal environment for a productive day and a delicious cup of coffee. With plenty of tables to choose from, many with outlet availability, this is a safe space to bring a laptop. Take note, however, that the air conditioning is not the strongest, so you may be better suited elsewhere on a hot summer day. Aside from their strong menu (we recommend the vegan sandwich and the apple cinnamon iced tea), the art gallery is a must see. The walls are filled with beautiful, exotic figure paintings that explore the human form with amazing colors and impeccable technique. Admiring the gallery is the best way to take a break from staring at your computer. Overall, the number of customers on laptops makes Ma Jolie feel like a co-working office with the added perk of amazing food and art.
