Health and Safety

At Delicious Israel, we are committed to your health and safety while you enjoy our tours. While COVID-19 is still present in our lives, Israel has maintained tough safety measures to keep infection rates low and normal activity open. We are very excited to be able to offer our tours again, and can’t wait to welcome you back. 

Please note that our tours necessitate visiting a number of vendors, who vary in terms of their dining setup. We will make efforts to maximize social distancing where possible, but given the nature of the open-air market and our small group sizes, this may not always be possible. Please bear this in mind while booking your tour!

Whether you are choosing to book a private tour or one of our small group tours, please keep in mind the following regulations. 

Here’s what we’ll do to keep you safe:

Health Declaration

All participants must fill out a Health Declaration form with contact information, on site prior to beginning the tour. (Should Delicious Israel learn that a participant has contracted coronavirus, all other tour participants will be contacted immediately.)

Small Groups

Small group tours will be limited to 10 participants to ensure both safety and a high-quality experience.

Social Distancing

Wherever possible, participants will be asked to keep at least a 1 meter distance from other participants.

For your comfort, we will be glad to welcome your party on a private tour. Bonus: we can customize the tour just for you.

Private Tours

Delicious guides will offer hand sanitizer before and after every stop, and surfaces will be disinfected prior to eating.

Sanitation

Guests will be offered individual portions and/or be required to use individual, single-use utensils such as toothpicks and plastic spoons for taking from shared dishes.

We will ask for masks to be worn while participants are not eating; the requirement of mask-wearing will be guided by the Ministry of Health regulations.
