Château Golan Winery

Château Golan is considered one of Israel's most extravagant wineries in Israel and is located in the southern area of the Golan Heights. This winery features a French-style Château, and grows thirteen different grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache, and Touriga Nacional, among many others. Château Golan produces about 75,000 bottles annually.

Assaf Winery is a family owned and run winery, located in the Golan Heights. Today, the winery produces 55,000 bottles every year. The wines are aged in the winery barrel room in French and American oak barrels between 6 and 24 months, then bottled and aged in the winery aging rooms. They grow a variety of grapes such as Zinfandel, Shiraz, Pinotage, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Chenin and Sauvignon Blanc. 

Open 10am- 5pm Monday to Saturday, 10am- 4pm on Friday, closed on Sundays

Pelter Winery

Pelter Winery is located in Kibbutz Ein Zivan in the Golan Heights. This winery is unique as it sources half its grapes from the northern Golan, and the rest from vineyards in the Jerusalem hills and the mountains of the Upper Galilee. It produces wines of several varieties, including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon blanc, as well as Methode traditionelle sparkling wines, using Chardonnay grapes. Pelter is one of only four wineries in Israel that makes sparkling wine.

Kadma Winery

Located in Kfar Uriah, half way between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Kadma Winery is reviving old winemaking techniques used in the same region during ancient times. They are the only winery in Israel that uses clay casks as a part of the wine production process, combining the ancient technology with modern knowledge. Fermentation in clay casks grants the wine with unique aromas and flavors. They produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Syrah varieties of wine.

Somek is a small, family winery located in the heart of Zichron Ya'akov. The winery only uses grapes from the family vineyard, which has been cultivated since 1882. They offer many varieties of wine such as Carignan, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, and many more. The winery also offers wine workshops along with tours.

Amphorae Winery

Amphorae Winery is located in the Makura Farm, near Kerem Maharal village. They strive to take the winery in new directions while maintaining traditional winemaking methods. The winery emphasizes ecological practices, minimizing pollution and the environmental footprint. The visitor center hosts wine meets every day of the week, which include a tour of the winery, wine cellar and archives, a cold plate of cheeses, fruit, nuts, spreads and fresh baked bread, and four different wine tastings. The winery produces about 65,000 bottles of wine a year.

Located in the small village of Ramot Naftali in the Upper Galilee, Na’aman Winery is located on what is considered the best land for red grapes. The intimate winery is located in an underground building designed as a cave, and produces a variety of Bordeaux wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The small winery produces approximately 10,000 bottles a year.

Ramot Naftali Winery

Ramot Naftali Winery is located in the Upper Galilee in Moshav Ramot Naftaly from which it derives its name from, and the winery’s vineyards are situated at the southern end of the Kadesh Valley. The winery’s vision is to develop, grow and manufacture wines from different varieties that are suited to the Galilee. They grow six grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Barbera and produce about 10,000 bottles per year.
